Sorry for ranting, just didn’t know this city would be so hard to find work in and starting to think I made a big mistake and also starting to feel slight resentment towards this city that I fell in love with a few years ago.Įdit: wow I did not expect this to blow up like it did. ![]() Icing on the cake is that I can’t qualify for a fucking apartment because I can’t get a job and my friends are on my ass about when I’m moving out. I am a video editor and have a very diverse portfolio outlining my skills and tons of restaurant experience and a professionally made resume yet I am struggling and my moving funds are running out. I’ve literally ran out of jobs to apply to. Rejection after rejection and it’s been 3 weeks since I got here. Now I’m stuck crashing at friends houses and I can’t get a fucking job. I moved to Denver to be back with my friends and for the mountains and because I fell in love with Colorado when I went to college here. I have a college degree and I have worked my whole life. After applying to Denver Jobs for months out of state, I figured I’d be able to get a job in a restaurant or something until I get a job in my academic field. No concern trolling, gaslighting, misinformation, brigading.
